Classic Oreo cookies all rolled up. So easy!
Yield: approx. 20 truffles Time: 30 minutes + chill & set time
Ingredients
- 1 package of Oreo cookies
- 1- 8 0z package cream cheese, room temperature
- 225 g white chocolate (approx.)
First you have to smash up your Oreos. If you have a food processor, pulse them until fine. If you don’t have a food processor than you can put them in a large ziplock bag and attack them with a rolling pin. Once the cookies are all crumbly, transfer them to a bowl and mix in the cream cheese until the two are well combined. Chill the mixture for three hours.
Take about 1.5 tbsps of the the mixture and roll into a ball. Continue
In a double boiler, melt the white chocolate. Using a fork or toothpick dip each truffle in the white chocolate and place on parchment paper. Repeat until all the truffles are dipped. Allow the chocolate to set. Store in the refrigerator.
The perfect two bite desserts.
Tips for cooking: You can customize these however you like. I drizzled milk chocolate over the top. In the past I have added green or red food colouring to the white chocolate and drizzled that over them. You can even top them with crushed candy cane or sprinkles. They freeze really well to if you make them ahead of time.. because there will definitely be none left over.
